What is EFT?

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an Energy Psychology that can help you feel a very quick sense of release from the negative thoughts, beliefs and physical pain you may be experiencing, with out having to relive a past trauma. Developed by Gary Craig  in the US in the 1990s, it is a wonderful tool for help with the stresses of everyday life. EFT is a very gentle and relaxing therapy that is safe to use with adults and children.

How does it work?

EFT is described by Craig as 'an emotional acupuncture'. Instead of using needles to stimulate the meridian (energy) points EFT uses light tapping with our finger tips. As you β€˜tap’ you voice the negative beliefs, feelings or physical sensations that you feel are holding you back. The combination of tapping and talking takes the emotional intensity out of these beliefs, allowing you to see things from a calmer, and clearer perspective; ultimately allowing physical and emotional healing.

What is EFT used for?

EFT has helped millions of people worldwide. It has had great success in helping people clear unresolved emotional issues, limiting and negative beliefs, physical pain and/or disease which may present in a person as stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, insomnia, chronic illness and pain, fatigue, post traumatic stress, fears, phobias, relationship problems, blocks to success at work/university/ school, anxiety around parenting or low self esteem.

Disclaimer: While EFT has produced remarkable clinical results, it must still be considered to be in the experimental stage and thus practitioners and the public must take complete responsibility for their use of it.  Further, Lara Rose is not a licensed medical professional. Please consult a qualified medical professional regarding your use of EFT.
